Paul grew up in the heart of the burgeoning indie music scene during the 70's and 80's. Portobello was at the heart of the punk explosion and new labels as diverse as ZTT, Virgin, Rough Trade, Cherry Red and Stiff. His passion for music was also fueled by a very exciting live circuit with the growth of dozens of now iconic live venues.

When his immigrant mother's ambition for him to be a lawyer was united with his love of music, Paul found his perfect environment. He has always sought to champion independent artists, writers, producers and other creatives together with their managers.

Paul believes in taking the long view with clients in order to support them when they need it on reasonable terms in those early years so as to allow them the opportunity to find their way forward. He has worked with many acts that have achieved international success but is just as happy working with a new artist as an international star.

Paul believes that people and music matter. The business is always a challenge and helping talent fulfill their potential is still his greatest driver.
